typical exercise:
In a typical exercise, pictures
of 20 items to be named appear singly on the screen.
After clicking the ? below the picture,
the user is asked What is this? The
user is encouraged to use any of the available cues
that facilitate naming and to gradually withdraw
from use of the cues.

Vocabulary
The program targets 422 words
organized in three main categories:
animals/objects, actions and people.
Vocabulary includes:

other parts of a house, furniture and
appliances, and items in the landscape)

objects (including kitchen items, tools,
office items, personal care and leisure

Cues
The number and type of cues made
available for naming assistance are listed
below (eight for nouns, four for verbs).
The user is encouraged to use any cues that
facilitate naming as many times as needed
and to gradually withdraw from use of the
cues. Users can check for correctness by
comparing their responses to the spoken
name cue. Self-perception of accuracy is
logged once the user clicks on the happy
face icon.
