NEC Foundation
of America recently awarded $50,000 to MossRehab to
support the national distribution of MossTalkWords®.
Through the grant, MossRehab
will distribute this user-friendly, computer-assisted
program to a national network of researchers and
clinicians. This network will in turn select and train
appropriate patients with aphasia to use the software,
and will evaluate its effectiveness. Dissemination will
occur primarily through the Northeast Cognitive
Rehabilitation Research Network, which is funded
by the National Institutes of Health.
For more information about participating in this
dissemination project, contact Ruth Fink, Project
Director at: fink@shrsys.hslc.org
or Mary Detwiler, Administrative Coordinator at: detwilem@einstein.edu.

Leland
Nunnally of Philadelphia, who lives with aphasia,

Director, MossRehab Aphasia Center and Jim Chadi, Chief
Science Officer, NEC Laboratories America, Inc.
